Updated pagesWe have updated by adding maps to the South Carolina and North Carolina pages. We have added a page detailing maps and guides to Cape Fear region of Carolina.

Updated pagesWild Hare International Shooting Accessories -- Wild Hare has seen fit to let us discount their fine products to us as a sponsor. We are selling them at the minimum suggested retail price. You may pick them up at this link with some of the proceeds going to a charity supporting the North American outdoors. We are going to take this as a good time to update our shooting and hunting sections in the near future.

Updated pagesWe are also in the process of updating our fly fishing, saltwater fly fishing, and trout fly fishing pages. We have added several river maps and fly fishing guides. Montana has many of these new maps and guides as example. It has been several years for some of these pages and many have asked us to update these pages. October and into November is one of the most exciting times of the year for the fishing community. Consider the great blitz in the Northeast (ex. Long Island Sound) and following the bait migration down to the North Carolina Outer Banks. This yearly phenomena, caused by cooling weather and cooling waters, put hungry predators together with migrating baitfish leading to a feeding frenzy. Get next to this conflagration and the fishing can only be described as fantastic. This time of year makes you love the Finger Mullet and Anchovy.

The fishing in and around Florida, the Texas coast, and along the Gulf Coast is likewise great this time of year. Fishing is always great there -- but October and November are good months to plan your winter trip. When the winter closes waters further north consider Florida waters including the St. Johns River watershed, consider the Texas coast also, and consider any waters along the Gulf Coast. Begin to plan yourself a welcome break from the winter doldrums. The good guides will book well ahead.

Whether you are fishing the blitzes now or getting ready for the gulf coast in the next couple of months contact us if we can help you with maps. We are steadily adding maps for all the areas mentioned above. Visit our Index of Fishing Maps.
