Ringneck Pheasant is the most popular pheasant for fly tyers. The range of feathers available on each skin allows tyers infinite options for patterns. The small white "Ringneck" feathers can be dyed to represent a number of exotic hard to find feathers such as blue chatterer, toucan, indian crow and kingfisher. Barred wing quills are great for wet fly patterns and hoppers. The long-fibered rump feathers are used for many patterns. The iridescent blue-green neck feathers are ideal for creating soft hackle flies. Tail not included.
